Dear Joan and family,
There are no words to adequately express how deeply we feel the loss of our dear friend, Gordon. He was a very kind man, a mentor with Camp Anew, an encourager and very thoughtful friend. When Ron was getting weaker, he would stop by to just say he was praying and wanted us to know....and when Ron died, he committed to pray for me and my children everyday. Last Thursday he called to remind me that we had passed the one year mark, but he would continue. Praise God for such a man whose life reflected his Savior so clearly in his daily walk. We are so much richer for having known him. May your times with family be overflowing with joyful memories of your years together. We will now pray for you during these days.
Love,

Dear Joan,
May the Lord bless you, comfort you and sustain you through these days of suffering and grief. We recall the words of the hymn, "By the Sea of Crystal"; Gord "translated at the Lord's command", singing with the saints in jubilant chorus, shouting triumphantly, "Unto God Almighty, sitting on the throne, and the Lamb victorious, be the praise alone. God has wrought salvation, he did wondrous things, Who shall not extol you, holy King of kings!". Our love and sympathy to you and your family.##imported-begin##John and Audrey Van Dyk##imported-end##
