Sue, I knew Paul from Bryan Hall At Michigan State University. He was a fun loving, easy going and kind fellow dormmate. We reconnected 2 years ago and had planned to meet for dinner after the MSU football game. earned today about Paul's demise.

I just wanted to let you know how much I loved Paul and how much he meant to me. He gave me my dream job working at the Vet clinic with him but he also was my dream boss and a true friend. The only thing I wish I could have kept when I moved to Chicago, was my job with him, I hated having to quite. I was so shocked and sad when I heard about his cancer, but was so happy I got to see him one last time so I could tell him again I loved him.
I hope you, Holly and Kyle can find comfort in all the great memories that not only you but everyone has of Paul. I know I will never forget mine. You take care of yourself and know that Paul may have left us here on earth but he will never leave our hearts and memories. Don't forget you always have friends in Chicago.

Paul was a wonderful person and will always have a special place in my heart. When I think of him, I think, kind, fun, giving, a great friend, Motown and of course MSU. I don't think there has ever been a time that I ever left your home empty handed. Paul always made sure I left with something as far back as I can remember. Some of the items that come to mind are, copper from the U.P., seeds to plant, Michigan Cactus, fruit, vegetables, flowers from his gardens. Really too much to list. And behind every item was a great story. I am so glad I made it home, to see him. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers in the days, weeks, months, years to come.

Paul has been a wonderful friend and "Vet" to all our pets since 1979 and will never be forgotten.
Paul and Ted went fishing together and always said they'd get together again "soon" but time passed by and "soon" never came.
He was friends to all he met and he'll always be in our heart; we can never thank him enough for the kindness he showed to all of our pet throughout the years.
Paul you have touched many hearts and you will be missed.

"Uncle Paul", as I called him was one of the top 3 men I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He always had a way of making us laugh and I love the way he used to ask me at work, "How the hell did you see that?" (lol). I'm thankful to have met him. He truly is a great man and your family is blessed to have had him!
His devotion to his family, friends, and STATE was admirable! I am glad we were able to have the picnic this summer because that was a "mission accomplished" for him!
