My sister, Mare, just said it all and so perfectly. It doesn't matter how old we are, or how old our parent is, losing him is such a great loss. He truly was the greatest dad and such a wonderful man and we were so blessed to have had him as our dad........and we miss him so.....May his spirit and lessons live on in his kids and grandkids, great grandkids, and all the ones to come...##imported-begin##Betty Lou Langlois##imported-end##
Aloha to all who have written and mahalo
Here is what I wrote today as I miss Dad:
Dad,
No one had to tell me how lucky I was to have you.
I always knew.
I’m remembering now all the years and remembering all the special things you did for me and for all of us kids.
You taught me everything about life and love and giving.
You taught me so many lessons I’ll never forget.
You showed me how to stand on my own in the world
And for that I’ll always be grateful.
Losing you is the hardest thing I’ve had to bear
Even though I know you’re still with me
I don’t feel it.
Having you for a dad spoiled me.
I appreciate you still and love you with all my heart.
Always,
Mary Anne
P.S. I’m behaving so I can be with you again.##imported-begin##mary anne langlois##imported-end##
Dear Langlois Family,
I would like to express my sympathy on the loss of so fine a person as Mr. Langlois.
I am especially thankful for the great example of Mrs. Langlois in caring for her husband so lovingly for so long. It reminds me of Jesus' example of "laying down one's life for another."
God Bless and Keep You All in Unity and Love during this time,

To my brothers and sisters- we had the greatest dad in the world. He taught us so much about loving, kindness, humor, business, faith and more. I will always be grateful for him and for each of you. I love you, and along with each of you, I will miss him always Hugs. Your sister, Betty Lou Ou Ou Lou what's her name! Hugs. Now "go to bed" or "Go to church" (as dad would say.) "You bet!"##imported-begin##Betty Lou Langlois##imported-end##
So sorry to hear of Mr. Langlois passing.
He always had a way to make me feel special when I was growing up. He always had a kind word of encouragement and love. I have many fond memories of growing up on Maryland Blvd. The Langlois family were the best neighbors anyone could hope for.
Warm hugs to Laurie and the rest of the gang !
Much Love,

Dear Fr. Bill, I am terribly sorry about the loss of your father. I can't even fathom that kind of pain. Please know that you are in my prayers.

Dear Dan & Family,
I wanted to write to offer my sincerest condolences on the passing of your father. When working with your photos it was evident to me what a tightly knit bond the Langlois family has with each other. Also, the laughter and smiles that must have been overflowing at each family gathering is truly a precious thing. I wish you and the entire Langlois family the best.
