A'Rayaa LaJoyce Tatum's Obituary
A’Rayaa Tatum, 2 months, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 in Grand Haven, Michigan at North Ottawa Community Hospital, after suffering complications from Jeune Syndrome. Although A’Rayaa was not here long, she quickly stole her family’s hearts, and they will always cherish their precious time spent cuddling with her. She will always be remembered by her expressive faces and beautiful large chocolate eyes. A’Rayaa was born on May 27, 2020 to Tommie Tatum and RaQuale Charles and they survive her along with her big sister, Tamya Tatum; big brother, Taylen Tatum; maternal grandmother, Reemeeka Charles; paternal grandmother, Linda Hardin; paternal grandfather, Tommie Tatum Sr.; aunts, RaYona Charles and Takeya Tatum; uncle, Tyree Tatum Sr.; great-great aunt, Demetria Pollard; great-great grandmother, Betty Watkins and great-grandfather, Arthur Holmes. She is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, LaJoyce Charles. A memorial gathering with the family will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 5-7:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. The memorial will be limited to 10 people at a time and masks are mandatory. A Repast will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 3-5:00PM at the Paradise Event Center, 465 W.
