Aaron, wow 43 years together and now your gone, I still can't believe it, I thought you was going to come home but instead I had to let you go, Now I just think you are just taking a nap here in the bedroom, but you never get up, I haven't cried in a while but they are flowing now, but maybe this is what I needed ,I can't believe how hard it is without you but I'm going to be strong I have to be, we had our ups and downs but we made it and now it's our golden years and you're gone, well one day I will see you again. My fondest memories of my cousin Aaron are the summer of 1973 we spent working together at our dad’s sawmill in northern BC and 2 fishing trips 40 years apart. That year, his dad (uncle Jack to me) took Aaron, Harvey and Donnie on a fishing trip to Yukon and was nice enough to include me and my brother Leonard. It was a great adventure where everyone caught fish and Jack brought home a moose. We did not reconnect until 2010 when Aaron, Paula, Cameron, Junior and Harvey came to the Peterson family reunion in southern BC.
In 2013 I finally made the trip to Michigan. We had another great fishing trip together on Lake Michigan followed by a fabulous fish fry at Aaron & Paula’s house.
Thank you Harvey for making sure all these re-connections happened.
The world lost a good man and he is now in a better place.
