Aaron Vink's Obituary
Mr. Aaron Vink, age 73, of Spring Lake passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 at a hospital in Muskegon. He was born June 3, 1937 in Grand Haven to Carl and Lillian (Green) Vink.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Spring Lake and was retired from Harbor Buffing and Grand Haven Public Schools. Mr. Vink proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. His sense of humor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
On March 3, 1962, he married the former Barbara Urbanik, and she survives him along with 2 children, Michael Vink of Muskegon and Victoria (Michael) Vincent of Battle Creek; 3 grandchildren: Michael C. (Meryl) Vink, Jacob (fiancée Kaylan) Vink, and Alex Vincent. He is also survived by 2 brothers, Dale (Linda) Vink and Richard (Ann) Vink; his mother-in-law, Genevieve Urbanik; 2 sisters-in-law, Patricia Noll and Arlene Urbanik; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Christian Vink, in 1980.
Services for Mr. Vink will take place 11:00 AM Monday, September 20, 2010 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Daniel DePew presiding. Visitation with the family will take place 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in Spring Lake Cemetery.
