Adam M. Ritchard's Obituary
Mr. Adam M. Ritchard, age 82, died Tuesday, June 1, 2004 in Muskegon. He was born on June 21, 1921 in Thompsonville, MI to Eli & Lizzie (Clayton) Ritchards, and had resided in the area since 1946. Mr. Ritchard was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II, and a member of the DAV Post. He had worked at Teledyne Continental Motors for 32 years, before retiring in 1979, was a member of Wolf Lake Baptist Church, and loved hunting and fishing. On November 9, 1946, he married the former Elvie Long in Troy, Kansas, and she survives him along with 7 children, Connie Przybylek of Muskegon, Gary Ritchard of Whitehall, Clayton Ritchard of Muskegon, Charles (Marie) Ritchard of Norton Shores, Marcia (Tracy) Pastoor of Muskegon, Pamela Ritchard of Elk Rapids, Elvie (Kevin) Gadberry of Astoria, Oregon; 16 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. Mr. Ritchard was preceded in death by his parents; 5 sisters; and 4 brothers. MEMORIAL SERVICES will be Friday, June 4 at 7 PM at Wolf Lake Baptist Church with Rev. Burt Wachter officiating.
