Adeline Ann Kotecki's Obituary
Mrs. Adeline Ann Kotecki, age 92, passed away Friday afternoon, February 27, 2009. She was born May 17, 1916 in Traverse City, MI to Casimer and Stella (Bartoszek) Baranek and had resided in the Muskegon area since 1940. Mrs. Kotecki was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church and had been a member of the Altar Society. She volunteered in the Mercy Hospital Gift Shop, enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo and cards, and also loved cooking and baking. On June 27, 1936 she married Frank W. Kotecki, Jr. in Manistee and he preceded her in death in 1964. SURVIVORS include 5 daughters, Alice Kujawski of Norton Shores, Audrey Adamczak of Roosevelt Park, Arlene (Roger) Smith of Marne, Phyllis (Michael) Chudy of Jenison, Denise “Dee” (James) Sprague of Muskegon; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, Roger Paprocki of Kalamazoo; sister, Rita Gumbus of Manistee; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 children, Janice and Jimmy; 2 sons-in-law, Michael Adamczak and Donald Kujawski; and a brother, Edward Baranek. A FUNERAL MASS will be held 2:00 PM Monday at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Thomas J. Brown presiding. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at
