Agapito D. "Pete" Suarez Sr's Obituary
Mr. Agapito “Pete” Suarez Sr., age 93, passed away early Sunday morning, September 8, 2019. He was born December 20, 1925 in Yancey, Texas to Perfecto and Guadalupe (Deltoro) Suarez. Agapito made Muskegon, MI home in the 1940’s. He was a dedicated employee to CWC Textron, working for 43 years as a core maker. He retired from the company in 1986. He also worked as a migrant worker for many seasons. On December 5, 1975 he married Amalia Sanchez in Grand Haven, MI, spending 38 years happily married together. She preceded him in death on August 22, 2014. He is survived by his 11 children, Fransico Suarez, Juanita Suarez, Agapito (Phyllis) Suarez Jr., Luther (Judy) Suarez, Josefa (Martin) Zapata, Guadalupe (Antonio) Herrera, Jose (Terri) Suarez, Manuel Suarez, Perfecto Suarez, Luis (Stacy) Suarez and Trenidad Suarez; daughter-in-law, Esther Suarez; numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jesus Suarez; 2 brothers, Manuel Suarez and Fransico Santos; and previous wife, Dominga Ortiz. SERVICES will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, September 12, 2019 at the Fellowship Church, 4200 Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service.
