Agnes M. Duiser's Obituary
Agnes Mae Duiser, age 91, beloved wife and mother, and grandmother went to be with her Lord Tuesday afternoon, May 6, 2014. She was born May 29, 1922 in Muskegon to James G. and Anna (Borgerding) Hoffman; and has been a life resident. Agnes was a life-long member of Unity Reformed Church. She was an avid reader and became the “cookie Grandma” to her grandchildren and family. On October 17, 1945 she married Gerald A. Duiser and he survives her along with her 3 children, Julie (Jerry) Galbreath, Bruce (Barb) Duiser and Patti (Mark) Peterson; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandsons. Agnes was preceded in death by 3 brothers, George, Herman and James Hoffman and by 4 sisters, Eva Olthoff, Freda Swiftney, Beatrice Minuth and Marian Duiser. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at Unity Reformed Church (1521 Porter Rd.) with Pastor Kyle DeYoung officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION with Agnes’ family will be 2-4 & 6-8PM Monday, May 12, 2014 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homs, Inc., 6291 S.
