Agnes Karch Rose's Obituary
Mrs. Agnes Karch Rose, age 99, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Wednesday morning, July 22, 2015 in Grand Haven, MI. She was born June 2, 1916 in Amherst Junction, WI to Michael and Frances (Wysocki) Karch and had resided in the Chicago area for 81 years before moving to Muskegon, MI in 2011. Mrs. Rose worked for Marshall Fields in downtown Chicago for 15 years before retiring at the age of 70. She also volunteered many hours for the Salvation Army and Food Pantry in Chicago and was a member of St Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Muskegon, MI. On April 27, 1939 she married Ira A. Rose in Chicago and he preceded her in death on November 10, 1970. SURVIVORS include her 4 children: Pat (Fred) McWain of Norton Shores, Dolores Hendricks of Buffalo Grove, IL, Wayne (Sheila) Rose of Townville, SC, Arnold Rose of Chicago; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Hank (Millie) Karch of Stevens Point, WI; sister, Wanda Domaszek of Stevens Point, WI; sister-in-law, Ruth Robinson of TN; loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 3 children: Nancy and Charlotte Rose, Linda Polanco; daughter-in-law, Patti Rose; son-in-law, Chuck Hendricks; brothers: Andrew, Edward, Dan, Ray, and Michael; sisters: Mattie, Alice, and Helen. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, July 25, 2015 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church – Marian Chapel, 2929 McCracken, Muskegon, MI 49441, with the Rev. Fr. Philip P. Salmonowicz presiding. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church. A committal service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2015 at St. Joseph Cemetery, 3100 Thatcher Ave., River Grove, IL 60171. MEMORIALS to Mercy VNS & Hospice or St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Memorial Fund will be appreciated.
