Agnes R. Fisher's Obituary
Agnes Ruth Fisher, age 88, passed away early Thursday morning, March 25, 2010 in Muskegon. She was born May 23, 1921 in Muskegon to Henry and Belena (DeYoung) Fisher, and was a life long resident. Agnes worked as a supervisor at C.W.C. Textron for 32 years before retiring in 1979. She was a member of Allen Avenue Christian Reformed Church where she taught Sunday School for 22 years, and belonged to the Mary Martha Society. Agnes also belonged to the Quadrangle Business Women’s Club, volunteered at Muskegon Christian School, enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting, and playing the organ. She is survived by her twin sister Margaret Fisher of Muskegon; her brother Harold “Bud” (Luann) Fisher of Muskegon; nieces and nephews, David (Pat) VanderMolen, Sandra (Alvin) Pearson, Paul (Jeanne) VanderMolen, Randy (Becki) Fisher, Lori (Mike) Bolema. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Harriet VanderMolen. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Monday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. (231) 726-5210 with Rev. Robert Bierenga and Rev. Douglas VanderMolen officiating. Visitation will be from 2-5 PM Sunday. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery.
