Aja'nae Antrese Ivy-Brown's Obituary
Aja’nae Antrese Ivy-Brown, age 30, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. She was born on August 16, 1991, in Muskegon, MI to Rose E. Ivy and Sidney Johan Brown. Aja’nae had a loving heart and kind soul; always willing to give you the shirt off her back. She was incredibly ambitious and determined with anything and everything she set her mind to. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing and spending time with her family and friends. Aja’nae always encouraged others to not let others define who you are and to be true to yourself. She was very well loved and will be greatly missed but never forgotten. She leaves to cherish her: mother, Rose E. Ivy and stepdad, David L. Johnson of Muskegon, MI; 2 children, Azariah E. Ivy and Aamir J. Ivy of Muskegon, MI; grandmother, Diana M. Ivy of Muskegon, MI; step-mother, Karthina Olison of Muskegon, MI; 3 sisters, Rashonda L. (Maurice) Hughes, Shykila N. Brown and Shawniece J. Brown all of Muskegon, MI; 3 aunts, Pamula L. Ivy, Tammy M. Aubrey and Monique L. Aubrey all of Muskegon, MI; several close friends; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney J. Brown; and 2 grandmothers, Linda Ealom and Rose Ivy. A Funeral Service for Aja’nae will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Greater Anointing Apostolic Church, 2245 Jarman Street, Muskegon Heights, MI 49444 with a viewing one-hour prior to service. A visitation with the family will be held from 5-7:00PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
