Alan Vredeveld's Obituary
Mr. Alan Gary Vredeveld, age 64, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening, November 28, 2003 in Pontiac, following the football game at the Silverdome. He was born October 22, 1939 in Muskegon, to Gerrit and Dortha (Nelund) Vredeveld, and was a life resident. Al worked at Hy-Lift for 35 years before retiring, was a member of the U.A.W. Local 1071, and was a U.S. Army veteran. He married Mary Bevans on June 26, 1971, and she survives him along with 1 daughter, Susan Vredeveld of N. Muskegon; his mother, Dortha Vredeveld of Muskegon; 2 brothers, Douglas (Judy) Vredeveld of West Bloomfield, Brian (Alice) Vredeveld of Ypsilanti; 1 sister, Norma (Don) Loss of Muskegon; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerrit; 1 sister, Kathy Cooper, and 1 brother, Michael Vredeveld. SERVICES will be 3:00 PM Tuesday at
