Albert "Mike" Hekkema's Obituary
Albert “Mike†Andrew Hekkema age 81, of Muskegon, MI died Saturday, September 17, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Mike was born on July 20, 1935 in Muskegon, MI to the late Andrew and Jennie (Buiter) Hekkema. He married Linda “Sue†(Fairfield) Hekkema on September 13, 2013 in Muskegon, MI.
Mike is survived by his wife: Linda “Sue†Hekkema of Muskegon, 2 Sons: David (Ruth) Hekkema and Mark (Stefanie) Hekkema both of Muskegon. 2 Daughters: Michele (Chuck) Dodge of Texas and Tammy Willick of Muskegon. 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Grandson: Joseph, 2 Sisters and 1 Brother.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 11:00am at the VFW Post #8846 on 1061 Witham Road, Muskegon, MI 49445.
