Alberta F. Skodack's Obituary
Mrs. Alberta F. Skodack, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday morning, April 30, 2006. She was born March 2, 1919 in Bay City, MI to Fredrick and Ida (Smith) Koehn and had been a Muskegon resident since 1956. Mrs. Skodack was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Altar Guild and Mary Martha Society, and loved spending time with her family. In June of 1939, she married Edwin Schwartz and he preceded her in death on February 27, 1964. She then married Steve J. Skodack in Muskegon on November 26, 1966 and he survives her along with 4 daughters, Diane Lewis of Grand Rapids, Karen (David) Swords of Muskegon, Faye (John) Yore of Lawrence, MI, Lynn Cooper of Muskegon; 3 step-children, Sharon (Anthony) Lisman of Muskegon, Gary (Linda) Skodack of South Lyon, MI, Steven (Linda) Skodack of Whitehall; 22 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Sam Swords; 4 sisters, and 3 brothers. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Dennis L. Lassanske officiating. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
