Alec James Sabourin's Obituary
Alec James Sabourin, age 27, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 16, 2012. Alec was born April 5, 1985 in Muskegon to William and Janet (Webber) Sabourin. Alec was a graduate of Muskegon High School and was working as a welder for Eagle Alloy. Prior to that, he had worked as a tire tech at Discount Tire. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his friends and family. Alec was a kind and loving person who will be deeply missed by all those who shared his life. Alec is survived by his mother and father, Bill and Janet Sabourin of Muskegon, his grandfather, Russell (Sue) Webber of Muskegon; aunts and uncles, Steve (Debra) Webber of Frankfort, MI, Megan (Ben) Francis of Honor, MI, Allison Webber of Frankfort, MI, Jeanine (Bernard) Hietpas of Chico, CA, John (Camille) Sabourin of Chattanooga, TN and Mark (Rachel) Sabourin of Daejon, South Korea; and many, many cousins and friends. Alec was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and John Sabourin, Sr. and Cleo Webber. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11AM Monday, May 21, 2012 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (2929 McCracken) with Rev. Fr. Philip Salmonowicz as Celebrant. VISITATION will be Sunday afternoon from 2-5 PM at the Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100. and one hour prior to the service (10-11 AM )at the church. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Muskegon Public Schools Education Fund through the Community Foundation for Muskegon County.
