Mr. Alex Frank Jozsa's Obituary
Alex Frank Jozsa, age 95, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016. Alex was born on September 30, 1921 to John and Mary Jozsa. Alex served his country proudly during WWII in the Army Infantry and the Army Air Corps. In 1953 he married the former Minerva “Pat” Forrest and they were blessed with 63 years of marriage and six children. Alex worked at C.W.C., Norge, Sheldon, and Bastian Blessing. He was the past president of Local Union 893, Hungarian Hall and Sacred Heart Society. He was also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Catholic War Veterans, Muskegon Heights Eagles, Catholic Foresters, Greater Muskegon Memorial Day Committee, and Sacred Heart Seniors. He proudly raised the flag at Muskegon Catholic Central football games for many years. Alex enjoyed hunting, fishing and being with his family. He was a loving husband, father and a kind-hearted, hardworking, honest man who will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Minerva “Pat”; children, Michael (Debra), Alex (Carol), John (Barbara) Jozsa, Monica (John) Klever, and Mary Lou Jozsa; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Tim Jozsa; his parents; brother, John; and sisters, Irene and Mary. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place on Friday, October 28, 2016 at 11AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 E. Summit Ave. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the start of the service. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Mercy VNS Hospice, or The Wounded Warrior Project.
