Alexzandria Fay "Ally" Givens' Obituary
On July 9th, 2019, the world lost a gentle, beautiful soul – Alexzandria “Ally” Fay Givens. She was a loving daughter, sister, friend, and niece. July 11th would be Ally’s 21st birthday. And sadly, she won’t be here with us. Her joyful, kind, loving soul was taken much too soon. Ally was born in Muskegon to Jamie and Carla (Hoover) Givens on July 11, 1998. She was a 2016 graduate of Holton High School and was a very talented artist. Ally was an incredible sibling to her younger sister, Angel, and loved her older brother Trevor. Ally’s family is very close-knit – she was a thoughtful daughter who spent time with her parents every week. They laughed together, teased each other mercilessly, and had a shared love of animals. Ally was deeply in love with her boyfriend Eli, who’s heartbroken he didn’t have a chance to propose as he planned. Ally meant the world to her family and they to her. A huge part of their heart is missing now. Ally’s effervescent personality and love of life and people will live on, thanks to her own generosity. Her organs were able to be donated to several fortunate people, who will carry on with their lives because of our loss. This is a source of comfort to her family. She will be greatly missed. SURVIVORS include her parents: Jamie and Carla Givens; brother, Trevor Givens; sister, Angelina “Angel” Givens; grandparents: Anthony and Jeannette Givens, Richard and Cheri Hoover; boyfriend, Eli Richards; aunts, uncles, and cousins; best friends and cousins: Reese, Breeanna, and Elliana; and special friends: Shianne, Jenna, and Maggie. VISITATION with the family will be from 2-4 PM Sunday, July 14, 2019 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442 (231) 726-5210. A CELEBRATION of Ally’s life will be held at a later date. Please consider making a donation on Ally’s behalf at her GoFundMe page at www.gofundme.com/f/ally-given039s-funeral-expenses.
