Alfred Dion Paquette's Obituary
Mr. Alfred Dion Paquette, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 in Norton Shores. He was born in Lake Linden, Michigan on July 27, 1930 to Earl and Yvonne (Dion) Paquette. Al grew up in Lake Linden where he loved fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Although he eventually moved to Muskegon, Al’s love of the Upper Peninsula remained, and he enjoyed going back to vacation. He was employed by the Grand Trunk Railroad prior to his retirement in 1990. Al was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. On June 10, 1972, Al married the former Sylvia L. Spalding and she survives him along with their daughter, Lisa Marie Paquette; two brothers, Royce (Jean) Paquette and Dion (Jean) Paquette; sister, Gloria (Harry) Clark; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Kathryn Rhoen. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at St. Joseph Catholic Church (701 Calumet St., Lake Linden, MI 49945).
