Alice Cole's Obituary
Mrs. Alice M. Cole, age 83, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at her home. She was born July 15, 1923 to Russell and Bernadette (Blais) LeBoeuf in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Mrs. Cole was a member of St. Jeans Catholic Church, and the women’s guild of the church. She volunteered at Mercy Hospital, was an election worker, and a member of the NRA. Alice married Leslie A. Cole on June 23, 1945, and he preceded her in death on December 4, 1997. SURVIVORS include 6 children, Paul (Candace) Cole of Muskegon, Sue (Steve) Neal of Fruitport, David (Betty) Cole of Shelby, Bruce (Patricia) Cole of Berrien Springs, Patricia (James Preston) Cole of Chelsea, Kristin (Dr. Michael) Liddell of Okemos; 16 grandchildren, Kristoffer (Rebekah), Holly (Michael) Michelli, Patrick, Andrew (Jennifer), Nicolas Cole, Dominic (Theresa), Jaime, Joshua Neal, Jessica, Jeremiah Cole, Torrin, Moiranda, Aidan Liddell, Hailey and Logan Preston, Emma Rose Cole; 1 sister, Rita Stevens of Newport, NC; her faithful black lab companion, Cinder. She was also preceded in death by a baby son in 1968; granddaughter, Michaela Liddell; brother, Russell LeBoeuf, Jr.; sister, Dorothy Mello. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday at St. Jeans Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. James B. Wyse presiding. Entombment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. (231) 759-8565 will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday, with the Rosary prayed at 7:30 PM.
