Mrs. Alice Mae (Sell) Goodrich's Obituary
Alice Mae (Sell) Goodrich, age 88, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Christian Care Assisted Living. From her birth to her death she supported and loved her family and friends and was a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her. Alice was born 1929 to Herman and Eleanor (Le Boeuf) Sell, in Muskegon, Michigan and was the second oldest of four children. One of her favorite hobbies as a teenager was to roller skate with her sister, Jane. She met her husband, Eugene Keith Goodrich at the skating rink and they were married in 1948.
Alice enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, socializing, playing games, and completing puzzles. Alice was strong in her Catholic Faith, attending Sunday mass weekly with her daughter, Jeanne. She was thoughtful and caring in a way that made her pivotal in the lives of those that were fortunate enough to know her.
In death she was preceded by her parents, her husband Eugene, daughter Kathleen, son Dennis, brother James, and sister Marjorie.
Left to honor and remember her love are her children Jeanne (Dale) Grelewicz, Gary (Christie) Goodrich, David (Amy) Goodrich, and Jennifer Vanhassel (Roland Cerka); daughter in-law, Lisa (Mike) George; 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 22 at 11a at Prince of Peace Catholic Church (1110 Dykstra Rd, North Muskegon) with Rev. Fr. Godfrey Onyekwere as celebrant. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 21 from 5-8p at The Walburn Chapel (1547 W. Sherman Blvd, Muskegon).
