Alice M. Springsdorf's Obituary
Mrs. Alice M. Springsdorf, age 86, passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. She was born on December 4, 1930 in Bartow, FL to James and Lillian (Cavanaugh) King. Alice was an active member of Faith Bible Church. She also was very involved with the Muskegon Rescue Mission and its Women’s Auxiliary. Alice enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading, and liked to play golf and travel when she was able. On February 14, 1954, she married Walter Springsdorf. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Walter; four children, Steve (Barb) Springsdorf of Grand Rapids, Diane (Greg) Crawford of Muskegon, Connie (Karl) Juusola of Muskegon, and Tom (Donna) Springsdorf of Alabama; ten grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Lillian (James) Dietz and Ruth Johnston; and brother, Dan (Cathy) King. Alice was preceded in death by one sister, and three brothers. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 1 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210 with Pastor Joe Galy officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 12-1 PM. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery.
