Mrs. Alice M. Wishka's Obituary
Mrs. Alice M. Wishka, age 88, passed away late Wednesday. Mrs. Wishka was born April 4, 1926 to Frank and Genevieve (Mazarka) Poliski in Manistee, MI. On June 27, 1946 she married Donald T. Wishka. She attended St. Michael’s, St. Francis de Sales and Sacred Heart Catholic Churches and was a member of Catholic Daughters of America as well as the St. Mary’s Alumni Group. Alice is SURVIVED by her children, Peggy Cannon of Holland, MI, Paul (Jean) Wishka of Norton Shores, Mark (Narda) Wishka of Ann Arbor, Ellen (Greg) Miller of Muskegon and Donn (Mary Anne) Wishka of Middletown, MD; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandsons; sister, Dolores Gunethardt; Aunt Florence Lack ; cherished friend, Irene Langoni and a close group of Mercy Hospital retirees. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her parents; and niece, Mary Jo. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 E. Summit Ave. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
