Alice Anna Mertz's Obituary
Mrs. Alice Anna Mertz, age 91, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2004. She was born October 20, 1912 in Muskegon, MI and had been a life resident of the area. On November 21, 1929, she married Leon Harvey Mertz in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on November 22, 1968. She had been a member of the former First Reformed Church in Muskegon. SURVIVORS include 1 son, Norman (Shirley) Mertz of Roosevelt Park; 4 grandchildren, Beth (Jeff) Van de Wouw, Michele Labath, Todd (Sara) Mertz, Scott Mertz; and 2 great-grandsons, Nicholas Labath and Cameron Mertz.
