Alice J. Jurick's Obituary
Mrs. Alice J. Jurick, age 86, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2008 at a local hospital. She was born July 9, 1922 in Detroit, MI to William and Ina (Frans) Primmer. She moved to Muskegon Heights in 1938. The former Alice J. Primmer married Joseph A. Jurick in Muskegon Hts. November 20, 1954. He preceded her in death on March 25, 1994. Alice was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir and was a life member of the Altar Society. She was also a member of the First Catholic Slovak Union #445. She loved reading books and spending time with her grandchildren. She was employed as a Bookkeeper for Morton Manufacturing for 18 years. Survivors include: her daughter, Katherine (Thomas) Buday of Norton Shores; 1 son, Anthony Jurick ; 3 granddaughters, Jessica, Rebecca and Sarah Buday; her sister-in-law, Helen Pomper; also many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Amy in 1981, her parents and 2 brothers, William and Max Primmer. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. VISITATION on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary prayed at 6:00 p.m. at:

Visitation at the church will be from 10 a.m. until start of the mass. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery. MEMORIAL contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
