Allan R. "Al" Keur's Obituary
Mr. Allan R. “Al” Keur, age 72, died Tuesday evening, December 21, 2004 at home. He was born October 26, 1932 in Muskegon to Hiram and Hazel (Harris) Keur, and had been a life resident. Mr. Keur was a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. He worked for S.D. Warren/Sappi Fine Paper Co. for 39 years before retiring. Mr. Keur enjoyed golfing and hunting. On November 13, 2003, he married Valerie Stark in Reno, NV, and she survives him along with 7 children, Vickie Hesson of California, Alana Smith of Nevada, Allan Keur, Jr. of Grand Haven, Jane Watts of Denver, CO, Brian Keur of Muskegon, James Keur of Grand Haven, Tim Keur of Farmington Hills, MI; 14 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Hiram “Sam” Keur of North Muskegon, and Ron Keur of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by his parents. According to his wishes, there will be no services. There will be a luncheon held at Fellowship Reformed Church with the family on Monday, December 27, 2004 from 4-6 PM. MEMORIALS to Hospice of Muskegon/Oceana will be appreciated.
