Allen Dee Twining, Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Allen D. Twining, Sr., age 66, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007, at his home. He was born July 24, 1940 in Muskegon to Walter and Louella (McDonald) Twining and lived his entire life in the area. On May 10, 1966, he married the former Vera M. Strickler in Muskegon. Prior to his retirement in 1990, he worked 18 years for American Coil Spring. He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. SURVIVORS include his wife of 41 years, Vera; 3 children, Lori (Craig) Never, Kimberly Navarini, Allen D. (Andrea) Twining, Jr.; 6 grandchildren, Tammy, Kayleigh, Kirsten, Janelle, Joshua, Christopher; 2 brothers, Homer (Helen) Twining, Bill (Marie) Twining; and 1 sister, Judy Major. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210, with Pastor Dan Smith officiating.
