Dear Linda, John, Sarah Jane and families: Please accept our sympathy at Alan's death. He was a man we admired and liked enormously during those wonderful years we lived in Spring Lake. We had many good times together, and above all, shared the blessings of Christ Community Church to which he gave of himself so unsparingly. He was a truly good man.

We shall remember Alan with much fondness. Our sympathy and love to you all,

Dear Linda, John and family,
I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your Father. I want to let you know that I have so many fond memories of your dad, of Christ Community, his involvement there and of his friendly nature and personality. I recall the time that we took Mr. Dykehouse's boat up the coast of Lake Michigan to Mackinaw City with John, your father and my Dad. It was such a fun experience for me and I remember lots of laughter and joking. I just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you during this time and that your Dad was a great man and I was very happy to have known him.
Stay well.
Warm regards,

Dear Jane, Linda, John and Bill,
Chuck and I were deeply saddened when we heard of Allen's passing. We both reflected on the last family gathering we were at. Regretfully, we are not able to be there, but our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this very difficult time. God Bless##imported-begin##Barb, Chuck and Sean Birmingham##imported-end##
