Allie M. Smith's Obituary
Mrs. Allie M. Smith, age 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday evening, July 24, 2008, in Muskegon. She was born February 16, 1931 in Norwood, LA to Flynn & Lillie (LaPrarie) Ebey; and had resided in the Muskegon area most of her life. Allie was a member of Calvary Church. On October 4, 1952 she married Ferrell Smith and he survives her along with 2 children, Ferrell (Linda) Smith, Jr. of Wakeman, Ohio and Cynthia (Barth) Wernet-DeFay of Vancouver,WA; 5 grandchildren, Narrah, Nathan & Maryann Smith and Kristifer and Sandra Bunnell; 3 brothers, Herman (Barbara) Ebey of Baltimore, MD, Cecil (Evelyn) Ebey of Galveston, IN and Joseph Ebey of Coffeeville, AL; 2 sisters, Annie Lee (Tim) Norman of Vick, LA and Madie Bell Durham of Frankfort, IN. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Flynn, Jr., Clarence and Charles Ebey. SERVICES will be 10 AM Monday at Calvary Church (5873 Kendra Rd, Fruitport) with Pastor Terry Fulk officiating. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with Allie’s family will be 2-5PM Sunday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565.
