Alma C. Nelson's Obituary
Mrs. Alma C. Nelson, age 95, passed away early Monday morning, January 18, 2010 at her home. She was born March 25, 1914 to John and Oret (Downs) Erickson in Fremont, MI, and lived most of her life in the Muskegon area. For many years Alma worked at Strayer’s Pharmacy. She also volunteered for the American Red Cross and Orchard View School’s Senior Program. She was a member of Orchard View Congregational Church. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Graham Nelson in 1970. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Thursday at the Orchard View Congregational Church, 2175 Marquette Ave., with Pastor Tom Beetham officiating. Burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at church.
