Mrs. Alowyn A. Bienert's Obituary
Mrs. Alowyn A. Bienert, 79, passed away Thursday evening, January 15, 2015 in Muskegon. She was born January 21, 1935 in Muskegon, and had lived in several areas including North Carolina, W. Virginia and Baltimore before returning to the Muskegon area. Alowyn worked as a hairdresser for many years, but also enjoyed sewing, watching games shows and soap operas. While she lived in assisted living she liked getting to know her caretakers and being involved with their lives. She was preceded in death by her husband William Bienert. SURVIVORS include 1 son, Jeff (Sandy) Osborn of Lancaster, PA; 1 grandson, Jeffrey; 3 brothers and sisters, David (Lynn) Knowles of Norton Shores, Kenneth (Kay) Knowles of Grand Blanc, Linda (Barth) Schutter of Jackson. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sally VanderZee; and her parents, Frank and Flora Knowles. In accordance with Alowyn’s wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no services.
