Alvin David Pearson's Obituary
Alvin David Pearson, age 74, of Fruitport Mi went to be with the Lord on November 15, 2019. Alvin was born on April 26, 1945, and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He served in the United States Navy from 1966-1972. Al married Sandra K Vander Molen on August 30, 1968. He worked for Clarke Floor Machine from 1968-1986. Alvin was appointed as Director of Animal Control for Muskegon County in 1986 and retired in 2002. He was a member of Anchor Point Bible Church and volunteered in the Muskegon County Jail Ministry. He was preceded in death by his parents Ted and Emily Pearson, his brother David Pearson, and his brother-in-law David Vander Molen. He is survived by his wife Sandra of 51 years, daughter Shannon (Grant) Robson; 4 grandchildren: Courtney Robson (Hamilton, TX), Garrett (Emily) Pfromm (Norton Shores, MI), Carter Robson (East Lansing, MI), Reese Robson (Spring Lake, MI); 2 greatgrandchildren: Kooper Robson (Hamilton, TX) and Benjamin Pfromm (Norton Shores, MI). In addition, he is survived by his brother Robert (Sharon) Pearson (Charleston, SC) and his sister Jane (William) Fischer (Cheltenham, PA). A memorial service will be held at Anchor Point Bible Church of Norton Shores on Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at 11 am. There will be a family visitation one hour prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Grace Adventures. Al had a life long love of animals and compassion for all living creatures. He was a devout man of God and shared his faith with anyone in need. His favorite saying was "Be with Jesus," and now he is!
