Alyce Virginia Dempsey's Obituary
Alyce V. Dempsey passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at the Poppen Residence. She was born December 6, 1925 in Green River, MI to Ervin and Alice (Neumann) Puckett. She moved to Muskegon in 1943. Alyce owned and operated several beauty salons in Muskegon, Whitehall and Harbor Springs, MI. She is survived by a niece, Ruth Tryon of East Jordan, MI, a grand-niece, Debra Wolfenden of Niceville, FL, and many friends. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, 2537 Wickham Dr., Muskegon, where a MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Rausch officiating. She will be laid to rest in East Jordan Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harbor Hospice or the Hume Home.
