Mrs. Alyce Ruth Veach's Obituary
Mrs. Alyce Veach, age 90, passed away Friday morning, October 20, 2017, at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. Alyce was born November 21, 1926, in Grand Haven to Walter and Elsie (Matchovich) Wiebenga. On June 23, 1951, she married James Edward Veach and he preceded her in death on April 20, 2015. Alyce always put everyone else first, and loved the time spent with her family. She also loved animals, especially dogs and horses; reading Westerns and watching Westerns on T.V. Alyce is survived by her children, Patricia (Daniel) England of Muskegon, Terrance (Pamela) Veach of Holton, Jamie (Richard) Ciezak of Whitehall and Ronald Veach of Muskegon; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Nony Veach of Grand Haven. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Albertha Mosser and Evelyn McCune. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Friday, October 27, 2017, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100) with Rev. John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (10-11AM).
