She will be greatly missed by daughter Chris (Brian Knight) and her precious granddaughters Megan (Kyle) Weidman, Nichole, and Kacie Knight; Sister–in law Jean Oldenburg, Niece Jennifer (Ken Chapin) and Nephew Ryan Oldenburg (Bobbi) and many dear cousins and friends and her best friend and camping buddy Marita Bailey with whom she worked for over 20 years. She was born in Muskegon on September 19, 1939. She was a member of Cascade Fellowship Christian Reformed Church. She worked in various insurance agencies in Muskegon and Grand Rapids for 42 years, retiring from McAlear Associates in 1999. At her request cremation has taken place. The celebration of life service will be held at the Cascade Fellowship Christian Reformed Church, (6655 Cascade Road, SE, Grand Rapids, Mi.). Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00PM on Wednesday, October 23rd. The service will follow at 2:00 PM.
