Amel "Wally" Magner's Obituary
Amel “Wally” Magner, age 66, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021 following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 23, 1954 in Muskegon to Andrew and Rozie (Gemzer) Magner. Wally loved watching NASCAR and going to local racetracks. He enjoyed recycling scrap metal, helping others, and having bonfires with family and friends. Wally will be missed by many. SURVIVORS include 5 children: Lisa (Bill) Robertson, Nikki Trejo, Tracy (Ray) McAllister, Jessica Magner, and Anthony Weber; many grandchildren; 5 siblings: Mary (Tim) Mathews, Linda (Rick) Shomin, twins Pauline and Paul Magner, and Raymond (Shelly) Magner; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers: Michael, Theodore, and Andrew Thomas Magner. A Celebration of Wally’s Life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Wally’s apartment building (3345 Whitehall Rd., Muskegon, MI 49445). Burial will take place 2:00 PM Friday, April 16, 2021 in Egelston Twp. Cemetery.
