Amelia "Millie" Larie's Obituary
Mrs. Amelia “Millie” Larie, age 91, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, Friday afternoon, January 13, 2012. She was born January 19, 1920 in Muskegon Heights to Paul and Suzanna (Kerpner) Koziak. Mrs. Larie worked for Howmet for 28 years before retiring in 1985. On December 19, 1944 she married Howard E. Larie in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on April 20, 1967. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be sorely missed by the entire family. SURVIVORS include her children, Gregory Larie of Spring Lake, Shelley (Ronald) Stout of Twin Lake; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Jeremy Larie in 2010 and by a brother and 3 sisters. PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICES will be held.
