Amiya Denise Sue Crowley's Obituary
On December 4th, 2023, Amiya Denise Sue Crowley passed away at the age of 23. Amiya was born February 11, 2000 in Muskegon, MI to Melissa (Edward) Madison and MeShaune (Stephanie) Crowley Sr. Amiya's diagnosis of Trisomy 13 at birth shaped her life but did not define it. While faced with daily challenges and obstacles, she lived a life filled with love, joy and adventure! She found happiness and laughter in her family and to her family, she was so much more. A big sister, a teacher of empathy and compassion, and an example of what it means to love and be loved unconditionally. Amiya loved music, car rides and the car wash. She enjoyed skating, bowling and had a very special love for the music of Becky G. "Singing in the Shower" was her favorite song and always brought a smile to her face. One of her favorite experiences was her annual family summers spent at Michigan's Adventure, trips to Cedar Point, and her special Make-A-Wish trip to Disney in 2015. Amiya loved the sunshine.
