Amos L. Daniels Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Amos Lea Daniels, Jr., age 77, passed away Monday, January 3, 2022 in Muskegon. He was born in Fremont, Michigan on June 30, 1944 to Amos and Elizabeth (Bronsema) Daniels, Sr. On January 1, 1965, Amos married the former Mary Diane Echelbarger in Muskegon. Amos formerly owned a beauty school, was a licensed realtor with Vollmer Real Estate, and most recently was a self-employed truck driver. He was a former member of St. Francis de Sales and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Some of his most cherished memories are of his days of golfing, fishing, and hunting with his sons and friends. Amos was a hard worker and dedicated to his family. He was survived by his wife Mary Diane, with four sons, Amos (Joann) Daniels III, Nicholas (Sandra) Daniels, Matthew (Becky) Daniels, and Jason (Sonia) Daniels; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one sister. According to his wishes, a visitation for paying respects will be on Thursday, January 13th from 5-8pm at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441 (231) 759-8565. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital or charity of your choice.
