Barb, Amy was dear to so many....I am so saddened by her passing. I will miss her bright smile, enthusiastic laugh, and the in-depth conversations about learning and all aspects of life and the world we are navigating. I would have come yesterday, but was at the memorial for my violin maker, Tim Jansma. It was a bittersweet day for all of us. I am so sad to hear of this. Amy is an awesome person, so loving and kind and ready to help anyone who needed it. She has a really big heart. We will miss her dearly. Our thoughts and prayers go to Barb and all her family and friends.

My last meeting with Amy was the 2nd International Biblical Frame Drum Festival, April 2015. She greeted me with warmth, kindness and welcoming open arms.
We were all invited to present and teach that weekend.
She expressed her generosity of being available to be of support in any way.
I was touched by her.
All our interactions were sweet and of mutual respect.
We went to each others presentations/class.
She presented so beautifully and gracefully.
She provided so devotionally and generously with care.
When they performed, I cried in gratitude that they kept the teachings alive of
our late teacher Layne Redmond. Felt connected by our love of this instrument, the frame drum.
I was honored she would teach my Element song at Women's Drum Camp and we exchange some nice emails.
We met at the 1st West coast Give Birth to Ourselves frame drum intensive.
She and Barbara have been passing on the drum teachings of our teacher for many years. She was a contribution to the women's frame drum community in sharing her gifts along with Barbara.
I will miss her bright smile and her strong loving hugs.
Thank you for being a loving shining presence Amy.
You will always be warmly and lovingly remembered in my heart. Love Miranda
