Amy Lynn Huizenga's Obituary
Ms. Amy Lynn (Wilke) Huizenga, age 44, passed away unexpectedly, as a result of a fire at her home. Amy was born June 8, 1965 in Muskegon to Ron and Janice (Hower) Wilke. She worked in the quality department of CWC Textron for the past 6 years, and prior to that, working 15 years at Active Engineering. Amy loved spending time with her daughter Brandy and granddaughter Maya; and watching and supporting her son Chris, as he raced motorcycles. She was also very active in the Muskegon Motorcycle Club. Amy was an avid outdoor woman who loved hunting and fishing. She is survived by her daughter, Brandy (Joe McCollum) Huizenga; son, Christopher Huizenga; granddaughter, Maya McCollum, all of Twin Lake; Mother, Janice Wilke; Father, Ron (Sheila) Wilke; brother, Donald (Nora) Wilke; sisters, Deanna Langlois, Debra (Gary) Faucher, and Julie (Scott) Benkert; the father of her children, Kevin Huizenga; best friend and fishing buddy, Dan Wilke; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the family. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (10-11AM).
