Andrew W. Buck's Obituary
Mr. Andrew “Andy” W. Buck, age 38, passed away on Saturday, July 19, at home surrounded by his family, after a five-year battle with brain cancer. He was born on November 13, 1975 to David Buck Sr. and Nancy (Parmelee) Borgeson in Muskegon. Andy attended Whitehall High School, graduating in 1994. He went on to pursue a degree in architecture from Lawrence Technological University. Andy was generous to a fault with a kind spirit and a gentle heart. His sense of humor was one of a kind and his laugh infectious. He loved nothing more than spending time with his wife, three daughters, family, and friends. Sports were his passion, mostly from the comfort of his favorite chair; as his friends would say, “one of the great indoorsmen”. He also loved White Lake, where he lived most of his life; fishing, boating, and watching the sunsets from the deck. On August 5, 2000, he married his high school sweetheart, Jenny Cornfield, and she survives him along with his 3 loving daughters, Annabelle, Lucy, and Rene; parents, Nancy (Otto) Borgeson and David Buck Sr.; brothers, David Buck Jr. and Tony Buck; step-brother, Matthew (Jenny) Borgeson; step-sisters, Shannon (Jim) Donley and Kristina (Steve) Wheeler; mother-in-law, Sue Cornfield and father-in-law, Tom (Jackie) Cornfield; sister-in-law, Polly Schlaff, along with many other beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Andy was preceded in death by his grandparents, William (Ruth) Parmelee and William (June) Buck; brother-in-law, Doug Schlaff; aunt, Patricia Buck; and cousin, Andy Reister. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Friday, July 25, 2014 at The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 231-798-1100 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service, luncheon to follow. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS can be directed to a college fund that is being setup for Annabelle, Lucy and Rene. http://gfwd.at/1lvShSx
