Andrew F. Cole's Obituary
Andrew F. Cole, 44, passed away Tuesday evening, June 18, 2024, in Muskegon after a long history of spinal, heart and vascular difficulties. Andrew was born June 29, 1979, to Paul and Candace (Denhof) Cole in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Fruitport High School. He had aspired to a career in Criminal Justice and completed a year at Muskegon Community College before his medical issues terminated that as a career. Andrew loved baseball and was quick. He loved stealing the bases. He was an avid Cubs and Bears fan. Barry Sanders and Walter Payton were his favorite football players. Andrew enjoyed Boy Scouts and is an Eagle Scout. He previously worked in construction, primarily woodworking and trim finish work. He enjoyed being outdoors, woodworking, collecting swords and most of all his kids. He was a great dad and loved his time with them. They miss him greatly. Andrew loved flying planes on the simulator and actually flew a plane off the runway with an instructor pilot. He is survived by his children Kiera, Lincoln and Rowan; father, Paul Cole; siblings, Kristoffer (Rebekah) Cole, Holly (Michael) Michelli, Patrick (Rob) Cole, Nicolas (Erin) Cole; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Candace Cole; grandparents, Sherman and Mary Ann Denhof and Leslie and Alice Cole. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church (3252 Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442). The visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Instead of flowers, contributions are asked to be given in Andrew’s memory made out to “Andrew F. Cole Estate” to be used for kid’s future education expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
