Andrew Paul Lang Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Andrew Paul Lang, Sr., age 59, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 after a battle with cancer. He was born in Muskegon on April 7, 1959 to Philo and Jose (Chingman) Lang. Andy was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a self-employed carpenter for 34 years prior to his retirement earlier this year. Andy loved hunting, fishing, carpentry, and Native American crafts. Most importantly, Andy loved his family and cherished time spent with his grandchildren. On February 22, 2004, Andy married the former Pamela A. Mattson in Muskegon and she survives him along with his children, Andrew Paul Lange, Jr., Christopher (Tabatha) Lange, Justin Lang; step-children, Emily (Chris) Bray, Amanda (Matthew) Gerencer, Amber Wawrzyniak, Natalie Blackburn; 18 grandchildren; four sisters, Kay (James) Moulder, Christine (Russ) Marsh, Carrie (Joe) Locke, Tammy Palmer; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Nicholas Lang; and sister, Virginia Smith. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, June 23, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Marty Gifford officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to his service. MEMORIALS in Andy’s memory may be directed to Harbor Hospice Foundation or Kingdom Hall Muskegon North.
