Uncle Tom and I spent several weekends at thunderbird raceway and had some memorable fishing trips. Especially when we parked at Orville Thompson's and a thunderstorm rolled in out of no where. Uncle Tom me and my best friend Barb were hi-tailing it back to shore, ended up capsized at the shore and lighting hit the shore about 30 ft from where we were. Scared the heck out of all of us, but we had a blast. Love that man dearly. He will surely be missed.
