Andrew "Drew" Cook's Obituary
Andrew “Drew” David Cook, age 31, of Spring Lake passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 29, 2011, at his home. He was born February 18, 1980, in Grand Haven to James and Marja (Endenburg) Cook.
Drew graduated with honors from Baker College and was employed by the Dakota Watch Company, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. He also enjoyed sports, especially the Detroit Lions, as well as boating and spending time outdoors.
He married the former Krissi Marie Hodgson on May 19, 2011, and she survives him along with a step-daughter, Alliah Mechelle Leonard, and a step-son, Joseph James Patitucci III, both at home; his parents, Jim and Marja Cook of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; two brothers, Aaron (fiancée Andrea) Kendall of Denver, CO, and Adam “A.J.” (Jaime) Cook of Grand Haven; his grandparents, Alvin and Lois Cook and Christian and Johanna Endenburg, all of Grand Haven; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The funeral service for Drew will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 4, 2011, at Second Reformed Church in Grand Haven with Rev. Mike VanKampen presiding. Friends may meet the family 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, November 3, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven. Interment will be in Lake Forest Cemetery.
