Angela Rae Lenartowicz (Van Hemert)'s Obituary
Angela “Angie” R. Lenartowicz, age 39, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016 in Detroit, Michigan. She was born on March 11, 1977 to Lucy (Michalski) Bisson and the late Al R. VanHemert in Muskegon. Angie graduated from Whitehall High School, class of 1995, and had previously been employed as an office manager at Mercy Health Partners. On March 17, 1999 she married Jeff Lenartowicz and he preceded her in death on April 18, 2010. Angie had a passion for music and loved spending time with friends, family and most of all, her children. She will be missed by all of those who knew her. Angie is survived by her children, Cayla and Jeffrey; mother and step-father, Lucy and Tom Bisson; sister, Michelle (Gregg Zack) VanHemert; step-brother, Bob (April) Bisson; nieces, Lindsey and Alexis Bays, Hunter Bisson; nephews, Nate and Kyle Zack; mother-in-law, Gayle Lenartowicz; several aunts, uncles and cousins. A CELEBRATION OF LIFE for Angela will be 11:00 AM Friday, May 6, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6921 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Mike VanKampen officiating. VISITATION with the family will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider contributing a memorial gift to an Educational Fund being set up for her children.
