Angeline "Angie" Ayers' Obituary
Angeline “Angie” Ayers, age 96, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020. She was born March 27, 1923 in Muskegon Heights, MI to Lewis and Mary (Mazurek) Trojnar. On September 16, 1946, she married Lyle E. Ayers in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on December 19, 1996. Angie was very proud of her Polish heritage. She enjoyed going to Polish festivals, cooking and eating Polish foods, and listening to her favorite radio program “Polka Melodies” every Saturday and Sunday mornings, and was a former member of the Pulaski Lodge. She loved going to the family cottage and was very dedicated and devoted to her family and loved spending time with them. SURVIVORS include 4 children: Mike Ayers of Grand Haven, Diane (Pat) Addington of Grand Haven, Sue (Dan) Suchecki of Grand Haven, and Mark Ayers of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers: Tony and Edward Trojnar; and 2 sisters: Celia Halasinski and Eleanor Brabb. According to her wishes, private family services will be held. Burial will take place in Mona View Cemetery. MEMORIALS to the Polka Melodies radio program will be appreciated.
