Angeline J. Zagaroli's Obituary
Mrs. Angeline J. (Lauretti) Zagaroli, age 89, passed away Thursday morning, July 15, 2004. She was born May 8, 1915 in Marble, CO to Alessandro and Maria (DeProspris) Lauretti and moved with her family to Muskegon at a very young age. She married Charles M. Zagaroli on June 27, 1936 in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on September 7, 1993. Mrs. Zagaroli was a life member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. The joys of life were her husband, children and grandchildren, cooking many homemade Italian dinners for her family on Sundays and holidays and playing a leisurely game of golf at Lincoln Golf Club with her women's group. SURVIVORS include her children, Chuck (Rachel) Zagaroli of Flushing, MI, Helen (Dave) Semelbauer of Muskegon, Michael (Jenny) Zagaroli of Grand Rapids; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; her sister, Violet Capua of Flint; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Lauretta Barnhill; her granddaughter, Marissa Barnhill; her parents, Alessandro and Maria Lauretti; her brothers, Michael Lauretti and Dr. Emil J. Lauretti; and her sisters, Lena Gianetti and Esther Gianetti. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, July 19, 2004 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson as Celebrant and Rev. Fr. Robert A. Hart and Rev. Fr. Julian Reginato as Concelebrants. ENTOMBMENT will take place at St. Mary's Mausoleum. VISITATION with Mrs. Zagaroli's family will be 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., (231) 759-8565. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Sunday evening at the funeral home. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the Mass, 10-11 AM Monday.
